Beth Evans is a Maryland and Washington D.C. barred litigation attorney who focuses on insurance coverage law and insurance defense.

Before attending law school, she worked for several years in the special liability group of Travelers Insurance, where she handled complex toxic-tort and other environmental claims. She has particular experience handling coverage disputes arising from first-party property claims, construction, products-liability, environmental, sexual-misconduct, business-tort, and commercial claims.

After attending the University of Maryland School of Law where she graduated magna cum laude and was Order of the Coif, Beth clerked for the Honorable William M. While in law school, Beth was the captain of the University of Maryland Negotiation Team and concentrated her course work in Environmental Law. Beth is a graduate of Loyola University, Maryland (B.A., summa cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa).

Outside of work Beth enjoys horseback riding, cheering on the Orioles, reading, coaching her kids’ soccer teams, and being an all-around youth sports cheerleader. She is also involved in the Stoneleigh Neighborhood Association and is working to help her neighbors strike racist restrictive covenants from their properties’ deeds.
